Why FAT?
Celebrating Global Culture Through Food, Art & Theatre
I’m a psychologist with a secret mission to make the world a better place (and I am not going to comment on my success rate in this endeavor). After years of experiencing the world as it unfold in my office, I decided to leave the couch and meet the world where it actually lives: in kitchens, theaters, street corners, galleries, airports, and conversations with strangers who become friends.
So here I am: traveling, tasting, watching, laughing, occasionally crying, and inviting you to come along. The goal is simple: connect, smile, be silly, be inspired, listen deeply, and let humor, kindness, stories, and food do the rest. Nothing psychological, no progress notes, no diagnosis. Just real life, real moments, real culture… and hopefully less paperwork.
If we end up feeling closer, more curious, a little braver, and significantly hungrier, I’ll call that progress. I will get back to the office with new perspectives and hopefully new friends, and/or new friends and hopefully new perspectives.
Well-being grows where curiosity, creativity, nourishment, and connection meet. FAT is where they meet.
